Having lost my mum and dad to cancer and subsequently going through my own breast cancer journey, I felt compelled to support people going through their experiences. Some days I felt scared and uncertain, I didn't always feel positive, and I certainly didn't feel like a hero. I really wanted to share my personal understanding of diagnosis, treatment and beyond, whilst offering support to others. My family and friends were a huge support, along with cups of tea and the odd biscuit or three. - Lisa
